Launched at the 2011 Youth Ocean Conservation Summit - the Youth Ocean Conservation Team is a network of youth and adults who are passionate about taking action to protect our planet’s marine ecosystems. The Team provides an avenue for youth to share ideas and thoughts on relevant ocean conservation issues, gain advice and support for the ocean conservation projects they’re working on, and a chance to collaborate with other young people involved in ocean conservation efforts. Participants in this network also receive periodic news updates highlighting opportunities for expansion of their ocean conservation work by volunteering for conservation organizations, applying for grants, and advocating for ocean conservation issues!

Additionally you can join the Youth Ocean Conservation Team network on Facebook, and consider attending our annual Youth Ocean Conservation Summit, designed to train young people how to launch their own youth ocean conservation projects.
